After 35 years off the bike and ready to start training again with a view to racing I realised I had been left behind with technology, equipment; nutrition and more importantly training techniques.
A friend recommended using George Fox as a coach and I have never looked back. Since October 2023 I followed his training plans, advice on equipment, aero, nutrition and race craft.
2024 race season was not only great from my personal view but took me close to where I left off in 1988 (2nd Cat Road Racer; 21-01 for 10m; 55-33 for 25m).
A continuous and efficient progression means I can look forward to an even better 2025 racing season! Cannot thank you enough George!

“I first went to George for coaching advice when I was starting to get serious about time trialling. He’s a very experienced cyclist and was somebody that I wanted to learn from with regards to coaching and racing overall. Since that point, which was in 2017, I have smashed PBs repeatedly overall all distances from 10 miles to 50 miles.
George’s approach meant a detailed approach to coaching and training but also an in depth look at race pacing and aerodynamics too, all of these things combined have really helped me go faster every year. Aside of the coaching George has become a good friend which has meant I can take any problem to him and chat things through without worrying about being judged at all.”

“As an older rider I started working with George after a few years away from competition realising that if I was to achieve the goals that I had set myself then having an experienced coach guiding me would make a great deal of sense.
Initially my goals were focussed on Time Trialling so George helped me to optimise my position and advise on how best to make use of today’s technologies. Then we got down to the structured physical training which helped me to improve my performances and set lifetime best times for 10 and 25m TT’s.
As time has passed the range of races that I have taken part in has grown and George has made sure that my training has adopted to the events so I go into them knowing that I am prepared as well as I can be, I can be competitive and importantly enjoy riding my bike”.
